I take a small number of weddings each year, which is what gives me the creative space to document your day fully while also giving you my undivided attention: location scouting, building your photography timeline with intention, catching the small details at hour nine, and a full gallery edited with precision.

Every collection includes 35mm analog film and Polaroid prints. Your Polaroids will be sent home with you at the end of the night in a small keepsake album.

After we've talked and you know I'm the right person for your story, I'll send a contract and a 25% deposit invoice. Your date is yours the moment both are complete. The remaining balance is split into three payments, with the final balance due in full before the wedding day.
Most couples reach out nine to twelve months before their date, though I've photographed weddings planned in three weeks and elopements dreamt up over a single restless night. I take a limited number of celebrations each year so that every one of them gets my full attention. If your date is already circled, it's worth asking early.
In the years I've been doing this, it hasn't happened, but I don't leave it to chance. Leading up to your wedding, my life is planned accordingly to avoid travel mishaps or sickness. In the event that this does come up, I carry a network of photographers whose work and character I trust completely whom I would arrange as a replacement, and my contract accounts for it. Your images will be made, and they'll be made well. Alternatively, if you would prefer to make new arrangements on your own, I will issue you a full refund of any money paid to date.
Fifteen guests or fewer. Beyond that, you're planning a wedding, a beautiful one, and one I'd love to photograph, but a different kind of day with a different rhythm. The distinction matters because it changes how I show up, how long I'm with you, and how much of the day I can help you shape.
Gladly, and often. Travel anywhere within Washington State is included in every collection as Washington is my home state. Beyond that, travel is quoted separately so you're only paying for what your particular day requires.
Full day wedding collections include a second photographer, built in rather than added on. With a full guest list there are always two things happening at once, and I'd rather have both of them captured than have to choose. For elopements, it's usually just me, intentionally. A small, quiet day deserves as few people in it as possible.
For elopements, quite a lot. Location scouting, a timeline built around light rather than convenience, vendor recommendations, and a gear checklist for wherever we're headed. When it's just the two of you and a place, choosing that place well is the planning and I've spent years learning which trailheads catch the last hour of sun and which ones you'll have to yourself.
For weddings, I'm your photographer, not your planner. I'll help you build a photography timeline and I'll happily point you toward vendors I love, but a full wedding deserves someone whose entire job is holding it together. I'll work alongside them seamlessly.

Yes, it's quoted individually rather than sold as a tier, because what a film should be depends entirely on the day it's capturing. Wedding and elopement videos cannot be booked as an add-on to your photography package. I offer either photo OR video.
Both, always, on purpose. Digital gives me range, low light, fast moments, the certainty that I've caught what needed catching. Film gives me the other thing: grain, softness, the particular way Portra 400 renders skin and evening light. I shoot two to four rolls at every wedding, depending on the length of coverage. Nothing is left to a single medium.
Almost everyone tells me this, and almost no one turns out to be right. What people usually mean is that they've been photographed at: posed, corrected, arranged... and it felt terrible.
I don't work that way. I'm an empath by nature, which sounds like a soft thing to say about a job until you watch it work: I can feel a moment gathering before it arrives, so I'm already in position when it does. My job is to build a space where you can be entirely yourselves and then to stay out of it. You'll be guided when you need it and left alone when you don't. The best frames I've ever made came from people who forgot I was there.
Then it rains, and we go anyway. Some of my favorite images have weather in them, mist swallowing a ridgeline, rain caught in the light, the two of you laughing under a borrowed umbrella because the day refused to cooperate. Bring the right layers and let lean into the rain, it's supposed to be good luck anyways. However, I'll always have a plan B if the weather is looking dangerous.
This is my favorite thing I do. Over the course of your day I shoot sixteen to thirty-two Polaroid 600 sheets, and I hand them to you that night, in an album, finished for you to enjoy before your full gallery arrives. It's a fun way to reflect back on the entire day and makes for a beautiful keepsake.
The rolls go to the lab after your wedding to be developed and scanned by hand. Once I receive them from the lab, the scans are uploaded to your gallery, and then I mail you the physical prints. This process can take 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the labs turnaround time and mailing efficiency.
Yes. Once your date is booked and location is selected, we'll get on a call and build the photography timeline together. This will be built around golden hour, the light, and the moments you actually care about rather than a template someone handed you.

Eight to twelve weeks during busy season, often sooner in the quieter months. I edit every image myself, one at a time, and I'd rather take the extra weeks than hand you something rushed. You'll receive a small preview within the two weeks, enough to share, enough to hold you over.
Most full-day weddings deliver somewhere between seven and nine hundred finished images; elopements and shorter coverage, proportionally fewer. But I don't work to a number. You'll receive every frame worth keeping and none of the ones that aren't. Culling is part of the craft, and a gallery that's been edited down is a gift, not a shortage.
Collections begin at $4,000 and rise with coverage, days, and distance. Every one of them includes 35mm film, the Polaroid album, planning calls, and your gallery. These are signature things that I will always include in your collection.

Yes. Every gallery comes with a personal print release, and there's a print shop built into your gallery with a lab I trust. Please use it, or one like it, drugstore printing will undo months of careful color work.
An elopement is the two of you, or nearly, fifteen guests at the very most, usually somewhere off the beaten path, structured entirely around the marriage rather than the event. A micro wedding is a small wedding: still a guest list, still a reception, still a schedule, just fewer people in it. Typically no more than 40 guests.
